Practicing gratitude is very important to me and something I talk about a lot around here.
In fact, 41 of my blog posts mention gratitude in them!
Practicing gratitude is simple, but it’s a practice that most people don’t make time for.
That is exactly why I suggest starting with journal specifically designed for practicing gratitude and promoting happiness.
Why you should practice gratitude:
- It boosts your mood
- It puts things into perspective
- Promotes optimism and a growth mindset
- Helps you appreciate the little things
- It reduces your “wants”
I write my gratitude list every morning during my morning routine. However, I’ll often think of things I’m grateful for throughout the day when I feel a deep appreciation for something or when negative thoughts try to creep into my mind!
If you want to learn more about practicing gratitude, I suggest you read the book The Gratitude Diaries!
Below are a few amazing gratitude journals for you to choose from:
The 6 Minute Diary
The 6 Minute Diary is my personal favorite and I actually have a whole review on this journal.
This diary is actually what helped me make a habit of writing down my gratitude list daily.
It’s simple, easy to use, and beautiful. I also love that it starts with a book for you to read.
You can use this diary for 220 days, but once you complete it there is also a follow up version called ‘Pure.’

Habit Nest’s Gratitude Sidekick Journal
Habit Nest creates beautiful, unique journals including the Gratitude Sidekick Journal.
This journal takes you through 66 days of guided gratitude journaling and also includes actionable tips and challenges!

The Gratitude Journal for Women
I don’t actually have The Gratitude Journal for Women, but I LOVE it. I would probably purchase this journal next because it is so beautiful, simple, AND it can be used for a whole year!
Not only do you practice gratitude daily, it will encourage you to spread kindness.
This is great journal if you’re looking for a daily practice that only involves a short gratitude list.
It’s also the most affordable journal on the list!

The Five Minute Journal
The Five Minute Journal is very similar to The 6 Minute Diary above.
This journal will last you 6 months and is another great way to practice gratitude, prioritize your day, and increase happiness.
I love how minimal and elegant this journal is.

There are quite a few options out there for gratitude journals.
However, I didn’t want to overwhelm you with options.
I believe these 4 are the most practical as they are all simple, minimal, and adorable.
