Struggling to Eat Enough Vegetables Each Day? Try Naked Greens Premium Powder

May 28, 2020June 5, 2020 Leila Leave a comment

Leafy greens such as kale and spinach are some of the healthiest foods you could eat.

Leafy greens are packed with vitamins and minerals and offer a number of benefits.

The benefits include healthy aging, a stronger immune system, better skin, optimal brain function, better bone health, prevent heart disease and much more.

The daily recommended serving of vegetables is about 2-3 cups depending on your age, sex and activity level.

If you’re like me, you tend to favor the bright, sweet vegetables such as bell peppers, carrots, sweet potatoes, corn and tomatoes.

I frequently eat broccoli and asparagus, but it’s pretty rare for me to consume leafy greens even though I know they’re the most beneficial.

First, leafy greens are hard to keep fresh. I find spinach, kale and arugula turn slimy within a couple of days.

Second, leafy greens just don’t taste as good as the other vegetables I listed if I’m being honest.

So I am here to introduce you to…Naked Greens!

A premium daily greens powder created by Naked Nutrition, a company that uses minimal ingredients in all of their products.

The Naked Greens contain:

  • 6 organic greens
  • 2 adaptogens
  • Probiotics
  • and a prebiotic fiber

They also:

  • are vegan
  • contain no artificial sweeteners, flavors or colors
  • are GMO, soy, gluten and dairy free

Organic Greens

Broccoli

Broccoli is a great source of vitamins K, C and B-1,-2,-3 and -6. It also contains potassium, magnesium, fiber, iron, magnesium and folate.

Alfalfa Grass

Alfalfa grass contains vitamins A, D, E, K and the full-spectrum of B vitamins. It also is rich in calcium, biotin, folic acid, iron, potassium and magnesium.

Kale

Kale contains vitamins A, B6, C and K as well as antioxidants, calcium, potassium, manganese and fiber.

Spinach

Spinach is known for being rich in iron, but it also is a great source of vitamins A, B2, C and K. It also contains folate, manganese and magnesium.

Spirulina

Spirulina is a type of algae that is known to be a powerful antioxidant. It contains just about every nutrient you need but primarily vitamins B1-3, copper, iron, manganese, magnesium and potassium.

Wheat Grass

Similar to spiraling, wheatgrass is also loaded with just about every nutrient possible. It contains vitamins A, C, E, K and B complex, calcium, iron, magnesium, 17 amino acids and enzymes.

Adaptogens

Adaptogens are plants known to reduce stress, improve your mood, reduce mental fatigue and help support adrenal function.

They have been used for centuries in Ayurvedic and Chinese healing traditions.

Ashwaganda

Ashwaganda helps to calm the brain, reduce inflammation, lower blood pressure and support the immune system.

Panax Ginseng

This plant is known to improve memory and thinking skills as well as boost energy levels.

Prebiotics and Probiotics

The Naked Greens contain 2,500 mg of prebiotics and 2 billion CFU of probiotics.

Pre- and probiotics support your immune system by increasing the good bacteria in your gut.

How to Enjoy Your Greens

I won’t lie, drinking the Naked Greens on their own is made for those with taste buds made of steel.

You do have the option to just mix this with water and chug it, if you can tolerate it.

It may be helpful to add lemon juice or orange juice.

Below is a smoothie recipe:

INGREDIENTS

  • Whole frozen banana
  • Acai super fruit pack (unsweetened)
  • 2 tbsp of natural peanut butter
  • 1 scoop Naked Greens
  • 1+ cup unsweetened almond milk

Blend all ingredients together and enjoy!

I couldn’t even taste the greens in this smoothie, but I love that I’m still getting the health benefits!
